Registration & Insurance:
Effective 1 November 2004, after
having had several parcels lost in the mail, it is recommended
that all orders over $50.00
be sent by registered mail (additional $2.70).
Orders valued over $100
will be
sent by registered mail with additional insurance purchased at the
rate of $1.05 per every $100
value, or part thereof, over the
first $100 value.
Please Note:
If a parcel that has been sent by ordinary
post becomes lost, or damaged in transit, Australia Post will only
refund $50.00.
Therefore, if you choose
not to have your parcel sent by
registered post, with additional insurance where appropriate.
ACQ will not
accept responsibility for parcels that are lost or stolen if they
are sent unregistered. For goods
that are declared lost in transit by the Customer Service
department of Australia Post. ACQ will only be able to
arrange a refund, or replacement, to the value of $50.00.
Please note this can
take 3 to 4 weeks to transpire.
Shipping within Australia
We
use and recommend Australia Post because of their excellent
service record and tracking ability of your package. If you prefer
another carrier please let us know we are happy to arrange for
collection of your package. If you would like a shipping estimate
before the package is shipped, simply inform us and will give you
the exact amount using Australia Post charges.

Proof of Posting Senders who require proof of posting must lodge a
Registered Post International article at any Australia Post
Office. The sender will then receive a postmarked receipt.
Proof of Delivery
In most countries, the person accepting delivery signs for the
article and the delivery office retains the record for 12
months. In other countries, the office records the delivery but
obtains no signature.
